They are looking for a talented Senior Chef de Partie to join the brigade, at the award-winning restaurant. The restaurant blends Mediterranean-inspired flavours with the finest British produce, creating exceptional dishes in one of the North East’s most elegant dining destinations.
 
Role Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee your section during prep and service
  • Deliver dishes to the highest standards of presentation, flavour and consistency
  • Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef with daily kitchen operations
  • Train and guide junior chefs within the brigade
  • Maintain excellent food hygiene, health & safety and HACCP standards
  • Assist with menu development, tastings and seasonal dish creation
  • Ensure stock is controlled, rotated and wastage minimised
  • Help drive a positive, professional and motivated kitchen culture.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Senior Chef de Partie in a quality fresh-food kitchen
  • Strong technical cooking skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in fine dining, luxury hotel or rosette-standard environments preferred
  • Calm under pressure with excellent organisation skills
  • A genuine passion for seasonal produce and modern cooking
  • Positive attitude and strong communication skills
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate others
  • Food safety knowledge and commitment to kitchen standards
