Norland Nanny for Two Children in Central London, UK

£80,000 - £90,000 yearly

Job Description

Norland Nanny – Central London – £80,000 to £90,000 depending on experience, plus benefits – full-time, Monday to Friday

A down-to-earth family in Central London is looking for an experienced, fully qualified Norland Nanny to care for their two children, aged 3 and 5. They want a professional, nurturing and well-organised nanny who values the standards and approach of a Norland education. One parent travels often for work in the entertainment industry, so the nanny must be happy to take sole charge, keep things consistent for the children and occasionally step in with proxy parenting. The parents are approachable, respect the Norland philosophy and appreciate the experience and professionalism a Norland Nanny brings.

  • Taking sole charge of the children's day-to-day care, wellbeing and development

  • Looking after the children's wardrobes, laundry and belongings
  • Organising outings, playdates and activities at weekends and in the school holidays
  • Keeping the parents regularly updated on the children's progress and wellbeing
  • Occasionally acting as a proxy parent while a parent is travelling
  • Working as part of the wider household team, including the housekeeper and driver

What you need

  • A warm, engaging and nurturing nature with a confident, professional manner
  • Highly organised, proactive and comfortable working independently
