EED is delighted to be representing a private family in Qatar, seeking an experienced, energetic and highly organised Nanny / Governess to support their two daughters, aged 16 and 10.
This is a live-in position within the family’s private residence, six days a week, with up to 12 hours a day. The role centres on overseeing the girls’ daily lifestyle and schedules. That means managing school and after-school routines, coordinating tutors, sports coaches and extracurricular activities, and keeping appointments, classes and social plans organised so the girls are always prepared for their commitments.
Alongside the logistics, the family wants someone who brings creativity and energy to the girls’ everyday lives. This includes organising engaging, age-appropriate activities, encouraging independence, good routines and positive habits, and accompanying the girls to activities and outings when needed. The role involves regular liaison with tutors, coaches and other professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing the girls’ daily lifestyle, schedules, and school and after-school routines
- Coordinating tutors, sports coaches and extracurricular activities
- Keeping appointments, classes and social plans organised
- Organising engaging, age-appropriate activities
- Encouraging independence, good routines and positive habits
- Accompanying the girls to activities and outings
- Liaising regularly with tutors, coaches and other professionals
- Operating with complete discretion within a high-profile household
Candidate Requirements
- Native English speaker
- Previous private household experience; high-profile or UHNW experience strongly preferred
- Experience managing complex schedules and coordinating tutors, coaches and extracurricular programmes
- Highly organised, proactive and energetic
- Comfortable living in and working a demanding six-day schedule
- Discreet and professional, at ease in a high-profile household
- Excellent, verifiable references
- Active and sporty, able to join in and encourage physical activity (strongly preferred)
- Creative, with a genuine flair for engaging activities (strongly preferred)
