Personal Assistant, Family Office – Central London – c. £70,000–£80,000 DOE

  • Travel: Occasional, less than 10% of the time

A private client requires a Personal Assistant to support the principals and their families within a large, international single family office in Central London.

The role

This is a varied, hands-on position offering exposure to both personal and professional matters within a fast-moving family office. The successful candidate will be organised, tech-confident and highly discreet, and will enjoy working in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same. The role would suit someone proactive and detail-oriented who is keen to grow within a high-performance, high-trust setting.

Key responsibilities

  • Managing complex travel arrangements, including family and business itineraries, accommodation, visas and ground transportation, and coordinating with external offices
  • Managing calendars, appointments and scheduling for family members, making sure priorities are well organised and conflicts anticipated
  • Helping to plan and coordinate private events, dinners and social engagements
  • Sourcing tickets for exclusive and sold-out events, including sporting fixtures, concerts and shows
  • Providing day-to-day support in relation to household staff, including scheduling and administrative tasks
  • Liaising with suppliers, contractors and household service providers, coordinating maintenance and tracking follow-ups
  • Working closely with the operations team on ad hoc projects and wider administrative support

Candidate profile

  • 2–6 years' experience as a Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant, ideally within a family office and/or UHNW environment
  • A background in professional services, financial services or a similarly fast-paced environment is an advantage
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities effectively
  • Proactive and adaptable, with a hands-on, no-task-too-small approach and the flexibility to work extended hours as required in a UHNW setting
  • Practical and solutions-oriented, with sound judgement and excellent attention to detail
  • Calm under pressure and able to deliver results swiftly
  • The highest levels of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive personal and business matters
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Willing to travel as required
  • Exposure to managing vendors, contractors or household staff is an advantage

Hours and location

Full-time and office-based in Central London, with flexibility for extended hours and occasional travel as required.
