Part-time Nanny / Housekeeper – Parsons Green, London – £24 per hour DOE

• Location: Parsons Green, London
• Hours: Guaranteed 25+ hours per week, Monday to Friday, 3pm–7pm, with a later finish one evening a week for babysitting
• Salary: £24 per hour, depending on experience
• Start: As soon as possible

A lovely family of three who have recently relocated to Parsons Green is seeking a dedicated, highly organised and proactive nanny for their four-year-old daughter, who attends school full-time.

The schedule is a guaranteed 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 3pm to 7pm, with a later end to the day one night a week for babysitting. Ideally the candidate will also be flexible to work five to six hours on one weekend night. Additional paid hours are available during the school holidays.

The ideal candidate will be reliable and professional and looking for a long-term commitment.

Responsibilities

• Managing daily afternoon pick-ups from school
• Planning engaging, age-appropriate activities, helping with early learning and reading, and overseeing bedtime routines when required
• Taking the child to extra-curricular activities
• Keeping on top of school communication
• Preparing school uniform and backpack for the following day
• Covering babysitting and occasional overnight stays
• Joining the family during travel if possible
• Booking child-related appointments and occasionally attending them with her
• Including the child in daily activities to encourage everyday life skills

Requirements

• Proven experience as a nanny, with excellent references
• A valid DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
• An up-to-date first aid certificate
• Fluent English with clear, straightforward communication skills
• A warm, trustworthy and organised personality with a can-do attitude
• Willing to travel with the family when required
• Living near Parsons Green or Fulham is a strong plus
