Estate Manager — Multi-Property Portfolio & Yacht — Abu Dhabi
Full-time, 6 days on / 1 day off

EED is delighted to be representing a private family in Abu Dhabi, seeking an experienced, hotel-trained Estate Manager to oversee their full property and lifestyle operation: four private residential properties in the UAE, one property in Turkey managed remotely, and a yacht with its own technical team and captain. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role at the top of a sizeable household team.
The Estate Manager will take full oversight of upkeep, maintenance, scheduling and staffing across all properties. They will work closely with a real estate team on maintenance and contracts, and oversee the heads of both the yacht and the real estate side. Day to day, this includes managing housekeepers and house managers, cars and drivers, deliveries, concierge-style arrangements and family travel coordination. The Turkey property is overseen remotely, coordinating with local teams and contractors rather than requiring on-site presence.
The role carries direct line management of 4–5 senior reports (house managers, the yacht captain/technical head and the real estate lead), with overall responsibility for a wider team of 10–12 people across the full operation, including the principal’s PA.
Working schedule: six days on, one day off, generally 8am–4pm, with flexibility expected.
Key Responsibilities
- Full oversight of upkeep, maintenance, scheduling and staffing across four UAE residences
- Remote management of a property in Turkey through local teams and contractors
- Oversight of the yacht operation, working with the captain and technical team
- Direct line management of 4–5 senior reports, with responsibility for a wider team of 10–12
- Working with the real estate team on maintenance and contracts
- Managing cars and drivers, deliveries and concierge-style arrangements
- Coordinating family travel
- Operating with complete discretion within a very private household
Candidate Requirements
- Hotel management background, ideally across multiple properties or a large property portfolio
- Proven experience leading teams, including managing other managers
- Professional, reliable and highly discreet, comfortable within a very private household
- Well organised and hands-on, comfortable owning property, staff, maintenance and logistics
- Comfortable managing a remote property through local teams and contractors
- Full, clean driving licence and comfortable driving as part of the role
- Clean criminal record / background check
- Comfortable with a structured six-day week, with flexibility as required
- Excellent, verifiable references
- Prior experience overseeing a yacht or working alongside a yacht’s technical team is strongly preferred
- Experience coordinating a real estate or maintenance contracts team is strongly preferred
The Offer
- Salary: AED 40K-50K per month
