EED is delighted to be representing an Emirati family based between Dubai and Oman, seeking an exceptional full-time homeschooling professional for their daughter, aged 8, to provide a high-end private education while travelling extensively with the family.

The family is looking for someone genuinely education-focused who can deliver a rigorous, structured homeschooling programme that keeps their daughter on track academically, with an eye to leading universities further down the line. The style is stern but kind — warm and positive day to day, but built on real academic seriousness rather than a light tutoring approach.

The schedule is flexible and built around school-hours-style structure, adapted to wherever the family is in the world, including full homeschooling while travelling. Should the family decide to return their daughter to formal schooling at any point, the successful candidate will coordinate directly with the school on curriculum and transition.

The family already has a governess and nannies in place, and staff in this household tend to stay for a long time, so this is a genuinely long-term opportunity for the right person, not a short placement.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering a rigorous, structured homeschooling programme aligned with leading universities as a long-term goal
• Maintaining school-hours-style academic structure, adapted to wherever the family is in the world
• Full homeschooling while travelling — no interruption to academic progress
• Tracking progress against clear academic benchmarks and reporting to the parents
• Coordinating directly with schools on curriculum and transition, if formal schooling is resumed
• Supporting the child’s learning needs, including on a behavioural level, with a calm and structured approach
• Working collaboratively with the family’s governess and nannies
• Operating with complete discretion within a very private household environment (NDA in place)

Candidate Requirements

• British, educated at a top UK university, with a strong academic background
• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE / QTS or equivalent) essential
• Real experience delivering high-end private education
• Fluent English essential; Arabic an advantage; any additional language a bonus
• Experience supporting children with a range of learning needs, including on a behavioural level
• Willing and able to travel extensively and full-time with the family, including homeschooling on the move
• Energetic, active and positive in disposition, genuinely adaptable to changing locations and routines
• Respectful, flexible, reliable and well organised
• Comfortable working within a very private, discreet household (NDA in place)
• Excellent, verifiable references essential
• Available for an ASAP start
