Educational Nanny for Twins Aged 7
Paris, France | Live-in, Rota (3 weeks on/3 weeks off) | Up to €7,000 / month
Ref: FN7055
Start ASAP
EED is delighted to be representing a private family based in Paris, seeking an experienced, highly qualified educational nanny for their twins, aged 7.
This is a live-in rota position. The family employs four nannies in total, working as two pairs—each pair works 3 weeks on, 3 weeks off, with the pairs alternating so the children always have continuous cover.
As the children are at school for most of the day, the role is weighted toward the school run, after-school hours, homework and enrichment support, and full-day care on weekends. During working weeks, accommodation alternates night to night between a room adjoining the children’s own room and a separate nanny apartment.
The household does not require driving, cooking or cleaning from this role — the nanny’s time is dedicated entirely to the children’s care, routine and educational support. The family travels internationally and the successful candidate should be genuinely comfortable and flexible with worldwide travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the school run and full after-school care including homework support
- Planning and delivering enrichment activities appropriate to school-age children
- Providing full-day care on weekends
- Maintaining a warm, structured and consistent daily routine
- Overseeing bath, bed and evening routines during working weeks
- Working seamlessly with the second nanny in the pair for continuity of care
- Coordinating with the alternating pair during handover periods
- Travelling internationally with the family as required

Candidate Requirements
- Fluent in one of the following: Russian, French, English or Chinese (Mandarin)—strong candidates across all four languages considered
- Recognised early years / primary education or childcare qualification (e.g. Norland, NNEB, CACHE, PGCE, or equivalent international qualification)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a comparable private household or rota position, ideally with school-age children
- Full right to live and work in France / the EU — essential and non-negotiable
- Current First Aid certification
- Genuinely flexible and willing to travel internationally with the family at short notice
- Comfortable with a live-in rota structure and alternating overnight accommodation
- Some prior knowledge of or experience with Russia and Russian culture preferred but not mandatory
- Excellent, checkable references from comparable private households essential
- Professional, discreet and comfortable working within a fully staffed household
