We are seeking an experienced and qualified and highly articulate rota nanny to join a formal household based in the Cayman Islands. The position offers a flexible rotation with a lot of travel. You will be given a schedule of your rota months at a time in advance.  Initially, you will provide full and attentive care for a 3-month-old baby.  As of November, this will include the baby’s older sibling, who will be 18 months old. The role is live-in while on duty and you will be provided with a separate apartment when off duty, or you can fly home at your own expense.

Key Responsibilities:

•    Deliver high-quality care and nurture to a baby and, from November, this will include an 18-month-old sibling.
•    Implement age-appropriate routines, activities, and developmental milestones for both children.
•    Work on a rotation basis: to be discussed at interview
•    Coordinate and collaborate with other household staff in a formal setting, always maintaining discretion and professionalism.
•    Reporting to a Head Nanny.
•    Travel internationally with the family as required, ensuring continuity of care during trips.
•    Maintain detailed records of the children’s routines, progress, and health.
•    Support the family’s values and expectations, adapting to their preferences and requirements.
•    Providing safeguarding and child protection.
•    Overseeing the children’s development and learning through play.
•    Working with the family and understanding professional boundaries.

Candidate Requirements:

•    British Qualification with recognised childcare qualifications (e.g., NNEB, CACHE, Norland, or equivalent).
•    Extensive experience caring for infants and toddlers, ideally within formal households.
•    Professional, discreet, and adaptable, with a strong commitment to child development and well-being.
•    Excellent communication and organisational skills.
•    Ability to work collaboratively within a team of household staff.
•    Willing to relocate to the Cayman Islands and travel internationally as part of the role.

Live-in accommodation is provided within the family home during duty periods. Initially you will share a room with the baby. In November you will have your own room and have the monitor at hand. Separate accommodation arranged for off-duty weeks, (if you choose to stay in Cayman.)
Salary US$100,000–US$150,000 gross per annum, depending on experience. Formal Cayman Island employment contract, including statutory benefits and holiday entitlement and Visa will be provided. (HU4432)
