Summer Nanny for Two Boys (5 & 8) | Live-in role near Nice in the South of France | €350 Daily | 6 days/week | 5 July to 30 August

EED is delighted to be representing a lovely international family seeking a warm, energetic and flexible live-in nanny to join them for the summer at their private villa near Nice in the South of France. This is a wonderful opportunity for a confident, fun-loving nanny who genuinely enjoys spending time with children and becoming a positive part of a family’s summer experience.

The family has two boys aged 5 and 8, who frequently spend time with cousins and friends of a similar age. The role is relaxed and family-orientated, focused on creating engaging activities, supervising the children safely both indoors and outdoors, and bringing positive energy to a busy summer of beach trips, swimming and outings.

There are no housekeeping or cleaning duties, and no family cooking is required, though occasional preparation of a simple breakfast or snack for the children may be appreciated.

Working schedule: 6 days per week, from approximately 5–10 July to 30 August. Flexibility is essential, as the family's schedule may vary throughout the summer.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: -

• Ensuring the children’s safety, wellbeing, and happiness at all times
• Supervising the children both indoors and outdoors, including around the swimming pool and at the beach
• Planning and leading engaging activities, games, and age-appropriate entertainment
• Encouraging creativity, active play, and independence
• Organising and preparing the children for beach trips, swimming, outings, and daily activities
• Maintaining appropriate routines, boundaries and gentle discipline
• Encouraging good manners, respectful behaviour and positive social skills
• Helping the children tidy up after themselves and keep their areas organised
• Supporting parents throughout the day with childcare-related tasks
• Occasional preparation of simple breakfasts or snacks for the children

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS: -

• Native-level English or French speaker
• British or EU passport holder
• Proven nanny experience with strong, verifiable references
• Kind, positive, energetic and fun-loving disposition
• Proactive and confident taking initiative
• Comfortable spending extended periods outdoors
• Confident supervising children around a swimming pool and at the beach
• Flexible, adaptable, organised and reliable
• Easy-going, personable and pleasant to live with over an extended period
• DBS check and Paediatric First Aid certificate essential
• Trustworthy, professional and discreet
