A private family is seeking an experienced and highly professional live-in couple to support the smooth running of a substantial country residence in Wiltshire.
 
The property comprises a beautifully maintained six-bedroom farmhouse set within established grounds, including a swimming pool. This is a long-term opportunity suited to a capable, discreet, and hands-on couple who take pride in delivering high standards across both household and estate management.
 
Working collaboratively, the successful couple will bring a proactive and detail-oriented approach, ensuring the home operates seamlessly while providing thoughtful support to the family’s lifestyle.
 
Role Responsibilities
 
This is a broad and hands-on role combining household management, family support, and estate upkeep. Duties will be shared according to each individual’s strengths and experience.
 
Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing the day-to-day running of the residence, ensuring the property is presented and maintained to an exceptional standard
• Full housekeeping, including meticulous cleaning, laundry, ironing, and household organisation
• Planning and preparing fresh, family-style meals, with a focus on quality and consistency
• Managing household provisioning, including shopping, stock control, and supplier coordination
• Supporting the family with day-to-day requirements, including errands and general assistance
• Providing attentive care for the family dogs, including walking, feeding, and overall well-being
• Undertaking driving duties as required
• Providing occasional support at the family’s London residence when needed
• Managing general maintenance tasks and overseeing the upkeep of the property and grounds
• Maintaining outdoor areas, including care of the garden and swimming pool
• Ensuring vehicles are maintained to a high standard, including cleaning and routine checks
