Role Overview

We are seeking a professional, highly trained Norland Nanny to join a private family in a rota position, initially based in India with regular international travel.

This role is suited to a polished and experienced nanny who is confident delivering exceptional standards of childcare within a structured, private household environment. You will be caring for a 5-year-old boy, with the expectation that you will also take on care of a younger sibling in the coming months.

You will work in a shared care setup alongside a very hands-on mother, so a collaborative and adaptable approach is essential. The role focuses on full nanny duties, with an emphasis on routine, organisation and maintaining consistency across both home and travel environments.


Key Responsibilities

Childcare & Routine Management
Full nursery duties to an exceptional standard
Establishing and maintaining consistent routines, including sleep, feeding and daily transitions
Managing both children confidently as needs evolve
Planning and delivering thoughtful, age-appropriate activities

Organisation & Daily Structure
School and nursery drop-offs and activity coordination
Organising playdates and social exposure
Maintaining structure, consistency and calm within the children’s routines

Household & Child-Related Duties
Preparing nutritious meals for the children
Full wardrobe management and organisation
Managing the children’s day-to-day needs to a high standard

Health & Wellbeing
Administering medication if required
Liaising with medical professionals when needed
Ensuring the overall wellbeing and safety of the children

Travel Support
Travelling with the family internationally
Maintaining continuity of care and routine while travelling


Candidate Profile

Norland trained (essential)
Minimum 6 years’ experience as a professional nanny
Previous rota nanny experience
Proven experience caring for multiple children
Highly organised, calm and methodical in approach
Confident establishing and maintaining structured routines
Discreet and experienced in private or staffed households
Strong swimmer with an interest in outdoor activities
Flexible, reliable and team-oriented
Comfortable working in a shared care environment

Essential Requirements
British passport holder
Native English speaker
