Job Description
A private family is seeking a qualified and experienced male tutor/governor to support the development of their 4.5-year-old son within a structured homeschooling environment. The family speaks English, Russian and Spanish.
The role combines structured academic learning with physical development and active play — including sports such as football and basketball, outdoor activities, early mathematics and games such as chess. A systematic and structured approach to learning is essential.
The position is currently travel-based across Europe, relocating to Singapore in September. The family can meet candidates in Singapore between 15th and 30th April. There is an option to begin part-time and transition to full-time. Working hours are 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, five days per week, including weekends.
Candidate Requirements
- Male candidate required
- Native-level English speaker with strong academic background
- Relevant teaching experience within Singaporean schools and private households preferred
- Structured and systematic approach to early years' learning
- Sporty and active — able to organise physical activities, sports and games
- Confident incorporating early mathematics and problem-solving into sessions
- Professional, well-presented and discreet
- Comfortable working in a VIP household with NDA, cameras and strict confidentiality
- Flexible and adaptable to a travel-heavy lifestyle
- A confident driver a strong advantage
- Additional languages (Russian or Spanish) an advantage
