Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present an excellent opportunity for a professional Full-Time Live-Out Nanny Housekeeper to join a warm and welcoming family in Littleover, Derby. The family have two young children: a two-year-old boy and a five-month-old baby. The mother is currently fully engaged in caring for the youngest child; therefore, the primary focus of this role will be the care, development, and daily routine of the toddler.

The family are seeking someone who is firm but fair, organised, and genuinely invested in supporting early years development through active and engaging care. The two-year-old attends nursery several times per week. Responsibilities will therefore include nursery drop-offs and collections, as well as planning stimulating activities on non-nursery days. The family value an active lifestyle, and the nanny should be confident organising outdoor play, park visits, creative activities, arts and crafts, and age-appropriate developmental play. Screen time is minimal; therefore, the successful candidate must be capable of engaging the child through meaningful interaction and structured activities.

In addition to childcare, the role includes child-related housekeeping duties. These involve maintaining the children’s bedrooms and play areas, managing children’s laundry, preparing fresh and healthy snacks and simple meals, and ensuring an orderly and well-managed environment. This is a full-time, live-out position offered on a 6-month rolling contract, with the possibility of extension or transition to a long-term arrangement.

Only candidates who have the eligibility to work in the UK will be considered for this role.

Working Days: Monday to Friday plus one weekend per month (time off in lieu provided)

Main duties of the Nanny Housekeeper:

• Providing attentive and developmentally appropriate care for a two-year-old child
• Supporting nursery drop-offs and collections
• Planning and organising stimulating educational, creative, and physical activities
• Engaging the child in outdoor play and active games
• Supporting early learning and development through structured play
• Assisting with bath time routine and maintaining a consistent daily structure
• Preparing fresh, healthy snacks and simple meals
• Managing children’s laundry and wardrobe organisation
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of children’s bedrooms and play areas
• Ensuring the child’s safety, wellbeing, and emotional development at all times

Requirements for this Nanny Housekeeper job:

• Minimum five years of relevant private nanny experience
• Excellent checkable references
• Fluent English
• Energetic, proactive, and organised personality
• Warm, confident, and able to set appropriate boundaries
