Scallywags Nursery is a friendly, family-run nursery in Melbourne, Derby, that has been specifically developed with babies and young children in mind. We currently have one vacancy available for a fully qualified Level 3 nursery nurse, trained in childcare working 4 to 5 days per week (rates of pay dependent on qualifications and experience - would be discussed further at interview) and the ideal candidate must: * Be qualified to NVQ 3 (or equivalent) or above in childcare and have experience of working in a nursery environment with children aged 0- 5 years. * Have a good understanding of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) and / or Development Matters and be able to use and talk about how you have planned activities for the children. * Have an awareness of planning, observing and record keeping for young children and the ability to link these to the individual child’s needs. * Have high standards, enthusiasm, good planning and organisational skills. * Possess excellent verbal...
