Part-time afternoon nanny – Southwest Oxfordshire – £21 to £25 gross per hour – start as soon as possible

A Southwest Oxfordshire family want a part-time nanny for their four children, aged 11, 9, 7 and 4. Their home is a four-bed farmhouse (three bathrooms), and they have two dogs. The job is mainly afternoon childcare: school runs, activities, supper and the start of the evening routine, plus nursery duties and keeping the house tidy. They need someone warm and steady who can cope with a busy home and wants a long-term role.

• Children: four, aged 11, 9, 7 and 4
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 3pm to 7pm, plus one evening of babysitting each week
• Pay: £21 to £25 gross per hour
• Start: as soon as possible
• Pets: two dogs
• Transport: a nanny car is available for work driving; you may use your own vehicle instead

Duties

• Tidying and organising the children's bedrooms, the playroom and household cupboards
• Taking in grocery deliveries and putting the shopping away
• Making supper for the children
• Helping with school pick-ups
• Packing sports bags and keeping the children's things organised
• Babysitting now and then

About you

• Previous private-household experience in a similar role
• Warm, patient and trustworthy, calm in a busy family home
• Organised, proactive and able to work on your own
• A full, valid driving licence
