Live-in Housekeeper – West London – around £60,000, based on experience

A private client is looking for an experienced live-in Housekeeper to join the existing team at their fully staffed home in West London. It is a great opening for a hard-working housekeeper who notices every detail and is proud to keep a UHNW home presented and cared for to the very highest standard. You would work side by side with the rest of the household staff to keep the house running smoothly and quietly every day.

• Location: West London
• Salary: about £60,000, in line with experience
• Hours: ideally six days a week, around nine hours a day; flexibility on days and hours is essential to suit the household
• Accommodation: live-in, in dedicated staff accommodation roughly five minutes' walk from the main house

Main duties

• All housekeeping across the residence, done to an exceptional standard
• Looking after fine furnishings, delicate surfaces, antiques and valuable pieces with the correct methods and products
• Laundry, ironing and complete wardrobe care, including delicate and designer clothing
• Getting bedrooms and guest suites ready, with bed making and turndown when needed
• Keeping linen, cleaning products and household stock lists full and current
• Supporting the rest of the household team and helping with other tasks when asked
• Keeping everything about the household strictly private and confidential

What the client needs

• A track record as a Housekeeper in a UHNW private home, a high-end residence or luxury hospitality
• Tagalog (preferred)
• Very good English, spoken and written
• Hard-working, dependable and proactive, with meticulous attention to detail
• A true team player who is at home in a fully staffed household
• Flexible, adaptable and calm when busy
• Well presented, professional and discreet
• Excellent references from earlier private household roles
