Full-time sole charge nanny – St John's Wood, London – £21 to £23 gross per hour – start as soon as possible

A friendly, professional family in St John's Wood want an experienced, kind and engaging nanny to take sole charge of their two children, aged 2.5 years and 8 months. Both parents work, so you would be in charge day to day, and the family hope to find someone who becomes a valued part of the household and gives the children a safe, loving and stimulating home where they can flourish.

• Location: St John's Wood, London
• Children: two, aged 2.5 years and 8 months
• Hours: Monday to Thursday 7.45am to 6.45pm, Friday 8am to 6pm
• Pay: £21 to £23 an hour gross
• Start: as soon as possible
• Experience: at least 2 years

Day to day

• Running both children's routines
• Taking the older child to pre-school and collecting them
• Bottle feeds for the baby and help with weaning
• Cooking healthy meals and snacks for both children
• Getting out to local groups, classes and activities, and planning fun, stimulating time at home
• Learning through play, crafts and stories, supporting language and fine and gross motor skills
• Building the children's curiosity, confidence and independence with activities right for their age
• Nursery duties, keeping the children's spaces tidy, doing their laundry and keeping things organised
• Occasional travel with the family within the UK

About you

• Experience with both babies and toddlers
• Warm, caring and reliable, with a real interest in early years development
• Proactive, creative and full of energy
• Confident looking after two young children on your own
• Happy to work with other relatives around at times when they visit
