After-school and Holiday Nanny – Watford, Hertfordshire – £27,500 gross per year – start as soon as possible

A Watford family want a long-term nanny to look after their two children, aged 10 and 12, after school and during the holidays. You will need to be comfortable with pre-teens and able to keep on top of everything that comes with that age – homework, activities and the running of the house – and you would become a settled part of family life.

• Location: Watford, Hertfordshire
• Children: two, aged 10 and 12
• Term time: Monday to Friday, 2.30pm to 7.30pm (25 hours a week)
• Holidays: 40 hours a week for 15 weeks of the year
• Salary: £27,500 a year, gross
• Start: as soon as possible, long term
• Driving: essential, using your own car for work
• Ofsted: registration not required
• Pets / SEN: no pets and no SEN needs

Household help (no cleaning)

• The family's laundry, plus ironing if you are happy to do it
• Keeping the house tidy
• Preparing food and doing the food shop
• Running errands

What the family need

• Experience caring for pre-teen children
• Someone who can balance schoolwork, activities and household jobs
• A full driving licence and your own car to use for work
