Private Chauffeur – Knightsbridge, London – £60,000–£65,000 a year (maximum) – permanent

American clients who spend around seven months of each year in the UK are looking for a very experienced chauffeur in London. While they are here the job is five days a week. When they are away it drops to three days a week, but you will need to be ready to get behind the wheel of their Rolls-Royce Ghost at short notice.

• Location: Knightsbridge, London
• Salary: £60,000–£65,000 maximum
• Contract: permanent
• Hours: 9am to 7pm; five days a week while the clients are in the UK (about seven months a year), otherwise three days a week
• Overtime: paid at your hourly rate after 7pm, perhaps a couple of times a week, finishing no later than 11pm or midnight
• Facilities: a comfortable chauffeur's room to wait in when off duty

Duties

• Driving the clients in the Rolls-Royce Ghost
• Handling the car's paperwork, such as insurance and tax
• Valeting the car to a high standard

What the clients need

• At least 10 years' experience as a chauffeur; this is a firm requirement, so please only apply if you have it
• Smart, courteous and quiet
• Excellent knowledge of London, especially the areas that matter for the role
