Temporary Full-time Nanny in Loxwood, West Sussex, UK

Temporary live-out Nanny, full time – Loxwood, West Sussex – £18–£20+ gross per hour

A Loxwood family is expecting a new baby in mid to late January 2027 and would like an experienced, proactive temporary nanny for 12 weeks after the birth. You will mainly look after the two older children, who will be 5 and 2 when you start, in a mix of sole charge and shared care. Mum will be recovering from a C-section and would welcome a capable extra pair of hands to keep the children's routines going and make sure they have a fun, active and nurturing time.

• Start: mid-January 2027, for 12 weeks
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.00am to 7.00pm
• Pay: £18 to £20+ gross per hour, depending on experience
• Children: two, aged 5 and 2 at the start
• Pets: none

The eldest is at school full time and the youngest goes to preschool three mornings a week. You will plan age-appropriate activities, go to playgroups, enjoy outdoor adventures and keep the children's daily routines on track, including the school and nursery runs.

Requirements

• Your own car (mileage paid; car seats provided)
• All usual childcare duties
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
• 12-hour Paediatric First Aid, or willingness to obtain it
• Background checks and checks on your references, which you will be told about and asked to authorise in advance
