Nightly Maternity Nurse – Farnham, Surrey – £22–£24 per hour gross

• Location: Bentley, near Farnham, Surrey (GU10); rural family farm – driver essential
• Baby: Second baby, due March 2027
• Hours: Two to three nights a week, 9pm–7am
• Salary: £22–£24 per hour gross, paid weekly
• Contract: Temporary; ten-week booking
• Start: 29 March 2027 (earlier support welcome if available)
• Pets: One dog

A family living on a farm near Farnham are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Nightly Maternity Nurse to support them after the arrival of their second baby. Mum hopes to breastfeed initially and would value practical feeding advice and reassurance, moving to expressed milk for overnight feeds as feeding becomes established. After frequent feeding with her first baby, she is keen to understand how to encourage healthy sleep associations and a gentle, age-appropriate routine from the start. The family want someone confident, experienced and approachable who offers sensible guidance without being overly prescriptive.

Duties

• Attentive overnight newborn care
• Supporting breastfeeding and expressed milk feeds
• Overnight feeds, changing and settling
• Guidance on feeding, settling and sleep; gentle routines and positive sleep associations
• Keeping baby equipment and the nursery area in order
• Practical advice and reassurance for the parents

Requirements

• Experienced Maternity Nurse with excellent newborn knowledge
• Confident supporting breastfeeding and expressing
• Warm, calm, flexible and non-judgemental; reliable and discreet
• Driver (rural location); comfortable with dogs
• Minimum three years’ experience in a similar role, recognised childcare qualification, current DBS and paediatric first aid; right to work in the UK; excellent references
