- Kensington, London, UK
Job Description
Houseperson / Cook – Kensington, London – £60,000 gross per year
- Location: Kensington, London (live-out)
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–6pm
- Salary: £60,000 gross per year
- Contract: Permanent
A couple in Kensington need a Houseperson / Cook to work alongside their long-standing Filipina housekeeper. You will be the cook (Spanish, Italian or Portuguese cuisine is a plus) and drive when the chauffeur is off. The previous post-holder stayed for many years and the housekeeper has been with the family for over six years, so they are looking for longevity. Discretion is essential, as is the ability to travel with them for around five weeks in summer (UK or European passport required).
The ideal candidate
- Proven long-term experience in a private household or similar
- Strong cook for healthy Mediterranean-style dishes (aspiring butlers who cook well will also be considered)
- Front-of-house smart, discreet and reliable
- UK or European passport; happy to travel for about five weeks in summer
