Daily Housekeeper – High Street Kensington, London – £55,000–£57,000 gross per year

• Location: High Street Kensington, London
• Hours: Full time, Tuesday to Saturday, up to 45 hours per week – Tuesday and Wednesday late shift finishing at 8.30pm, Thursday to Saturday 8.30am–5.30pm
• Salary: £55,000–£57,000 gross per year
• Start: ASAP

A warm and welcoming family with three school-aged children is looking for an experienced Housekeeper to join the household team caring for their five-storey home. You will work alongside another daily housekeeper, a live-in housekeeper/cook, a nanny and a PA, working mostly in tandem with the other housekeeper on all cleaning, laundry and ironing for the family.

The family are looking for someone organised, flexible and discreet who enjoys working as part of a professional household team and is happy to muck in wherever needed.

Duties include

• Traditional housekeeping: hoovering, dusting and mopping throughout the home
• Laundry, ironing and specialist care of cashmere and delicate garments
• Changing and maintaining bed linen
• Running errands, such as trips to the dry cleaners
• Maintaining the home to an immaculate standard
• Working closely with the other housekeeper and household staff

Key criteria

• Previous experience in a similar role in a private household
• Able to work well in a team
• Proven longevity and commitment in previous positions
• Strong spoken English and excellent communication skills
