Private Chef – South Kensington, London – £65,000–£70,000 gross per annum
- Location: South Kensington, London
- Days: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 10am–8pm
- Salary: £65,000–£70,000 gross per annum
- Start: October 2026
- Holiday: Approximately 12 weeks per year, taken during the family's school holiday travel
An experienced Private Chef is sought to work Monday to Friday for a family based in South Kensington.
The chef will prepare lunch and dinner for a family of five, as well as lunch for one staff member. The household is fully staffed and runs to a high, formal standard.
The family enjoys healthy, light Mediterranean-style cuisine, with a particular focus on fresh, nutritious food. One of the principals follows a specific macro-counted diet, so the chef should be comfortable preparing meals to precise nutritional requirements.
This is a formal household and the family entertains from time to time. Occasional weekend entertaining may be required, although a weekend chef is available to assist with larger events.
Duties
- Preparing healthy, fresh and well-balanced lunches and dinners
- Cooking for the family of five and one staff member
- Catering to specific dietary and nutritional requirements
- Menu planning and maintaining consistently high standards
- Managing food provisions and household shopping
- Keeping the kitchen and working areas clean and organised
- Assisting with occasional weekend entertaining and larger events
The ideal candidate will be an experienced private household chef who is organised, discreet, flexible and confident working within a formal family environment.
