Live-out Danish-speaking Nanny – Queen's Park, London NW6 – salary negotiable

A family based in Queen's Park is looking for an experienced Danish-speaking nanny to care for their 20-month-old son. This is a full-time, live-out position. The family regularly spends time at their home in Denmark, so flexibility to travel with them is an essential part of the role.

Role overview

The nanny will be responsible for the little boy's daily care, routine and development. The family is looking for an experienced, reliable and organised nanny who can provide engaging, age-appropriate care and support his development and growing independence. Driving is not essential but would be a bonus.

Main responsibilities

  • Providing attentive, age-appropriate care and managing his daily routine
  • Supporting his development, independence and Danish language development
  • Planning stimulating activities, outings, classes and playdates
  • Preparing healthy meals and snacks, and managing meals and nap routines
  • Bathing and dressing as required
  • Preparing his belongings for outings and travel, and travelling with the family as required

Child-related housekeeping

  • The child's laundry and clothing
  • Keeping his bedroom and play areas tidy
  • Cleaning and organising toys and child-related equipment
  • Keeping the kitchen tidy after preparing his meals

All housekeeping duties are strictly child-related; no deep cleaning.

Requirements

  • Fluent or native-level Danish speaker
  • Strong toddler experience
  • Valid right to work in the UK
  • Valid enhanced DBS check
  • Valid paediatric first aid certificate
  • Willing and able to travel regularly with the family
  • Comfortable with dogs
  • Reliable, organised and looking for a long-term position
