Rate: £25 – £30 gross per hour (Candidate dependent on days and experience)
Days: 2 days (either Tuesday and Wednesday OR Wednesday and Thursday) 09:00 am – 5:00 pm

Key Requirements:

• Native English speaker
• Previous experience caring for babies/young toddlers
• Knowledgeable about early years development and language acquisition
• Creative and enthusiastic about learning through play
• Confident organising a stimulating and varied day
• Calm, discreet and quietly confident in a family home
• Comfortable working alongside parents
• Happy to accompany the child to swimming lessons
• Comfortable around dogs
• Excellent communication skills and a nurturing approach

Working with a delightful one-year-old girl, this is a lovely part-time position for a knowledgeable and nurturing nanny who enjoys creating a stimulating, language-rich day for a young child.The family are looking for a mother-tongue English-speaking nanny who can play an important role in developing their daughter’s English language skills through everyday conversation, books, songs, nursery rhymes and imaginative play. Their little girl is happy, healthy and at a wonderful stage for learning, and the nanny will be encouraged to fill her days with engaging activities that support her development and curiosity. The nanny will accompany the little girl to her swimming lessons and organise a varied and age-appropriate day around learning through play. There are two pet dogs in the home, so the nanny should be comfortable around dogs. Mum and Dad may be around during the day, so this role would suit someone who is quietly confident, discreet and knowledgeable, with the maturity to work comfortably alongside parents while taking responsibility for their little girl’s day.
