This is a wonderful opportunity for an exceptionally well-qualified Nanny to become an important and trusted part of a warm, close-knit family and take genuine ownership of the care, development and education of their two young children, a boy aged 1 and girl aged 3. The family are looking for someone who combines outstanding childcare knowledge and high professional standards with warmth, playfulness and genuine nurturing instincts. Both children are happy, well-mannered and thrive with routine, consistency and clear boundaries, and they are looking for a Nanny who will bring energy, enthusiasm and a love of learning to their days. The family enjoy singing, dancing, spending time outdoors and having fun together, and they would love their Nanny to share this positive, engaging approach with the children. Both parents work full time, with Mum spending four days a week in the office and Dad three. When working from home, they have a dedicated office within the family home, allowing the Nanny to take full responsibility for the children and work confidently and autonomously. Education and developmental knowledge are particularly important to this family. Their first choice would be a Norland-trained Nanny, although they would consider an exceptional candidate with a BA in Early Years or similar qualification and at least four years’ post-qualification experience. The successful Nanny will have a genuine understanding of child development and be able to thoughtfully support both children through their individual stages, rather than simply providing excellent day-to-day care.
