Description
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Live-Out Family Cook to join a family of six in Kensington. The family enjoys fresh, homemade, family-style food and a wide variety of cuisines from around the world. They are looking for someone who takes pride in cooking wholesome, delicious meals and is happy to be flexible with menus and learn new recipes and styles of cooking. The successful candidate will work alongside the Head Chef and another Cook, forming part of a collaborative and well-organised kitchen team.
Responsibilities
- Preparing fresh, homemade meals for the whole family
- Cooking a varied range of family-style dishes and international cuisines
- Preparing either breakfast and lunch or lunch and dinner, depending on the rota
- Catering appropriately for both adults and children aged 4–12
- Working closely with the Head Chef and fellow Cook
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation and food hygiene
- Being flexible and willing to learn new recipes, cuisines and techniques
- Helping with menu planning and adapting meals to suit the family's preferences
- Some travel with the family will be required
