Job Description
A Child’s Place at Unity House is seeking full-time CFY Speech-Language Pathologists to join our early childhood program. This is a great opportunity for new graduates to complete their Clinical Fellowship Year in a supportive, team-based environment.
Sign-On Bonus
$5,000 for eligible candidates
CFY candidates that complete their required one-year supervised rotation are eligible for an additional $5,000 sign on bonus, if continued employment at A Child’s Place!
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and treat children ages 6 weeks to 5 years
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
Use creative, play-based and theme-based activities to engage children
Provide services in:
Daycare centers and preschools
Client homes
Special education settings
Maintain accurate documentation and timely reports
Collaborate with a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and multidisciplinary team
Support a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required)
Pediatric experience or internship (preferred)
Strong documentation and organizational skills
Valid NYS driver’s license and reliable transportation
