This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nanny who enjoys working closely with a private family and is confident creating a warm, structured and stimulating environment for a young child. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the child's day-to-day care, safety, routine, development and activities while providing a calm, positive and loving presence within the family home.

The position is offered on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotational schedule, making it particularly attractive to professional nannies seeking an international rotational role with substantial time off between working periods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive, hands-on care for the 3-year-old child throughout the working day.
  • Ensure the child's safety, wellbeing and comfort at all times.
  • Establish and maintain a consistent, age-appropriate daily routine.
  • Plan and lead educational, creative and developmental activities.
  • Organize age-appropriate games, indoor activities and outdoor play.
  • Take the child for walks and encourage suitable physical activity.
  • Support the child's social, emotional, cognitive and physical development.
  • Create a nurturing, calm and positive home environment.
  • Encourage good manners, independence and age-appropriate life skills.
  • Observe the child's needs and adapt activities according to her interests and developmental stage.
  • Maintain a clean, organized and child-friendly environment around the child's activities and belongings.
  • Communicate appropriately with the parents regarding the child's daily routine, activities and wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively and respectfully with the family and any other household staff.

Essential requirements:

  • Proven professional childcare or nanny experience.
  • Previous experience caring for young children, ideally toddlers or preschool-aged children.
  • Good understanding of early childhood development and age-appropriate activities.
  • Responsible, trustworthy and safety-conscious approach.
  • Warm, nurturing and patient personality.
  • Physically active and energetic enough to keep up with a young child.
  • Able to establish structure and maintain a consistent routine.
  • Creative and proactive when planning activities and play.
  • Professional attitude and respect for family privacy.
  • No harmful habits.

  • Comfortable working in a private family household.
  • Able to commit to a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotational schedule.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The family is looking for someone who is more than simply a childcare provider. The ideal nanny will be warm and nurturing while maintaining professional boundaries, proactive in creating meaningful activities, and confident caring for a preschool-aged child independently.

A candidate with experience in international private households, UHNW/HNW families, VIP families, executive households or luxury childcare environments would be advantageous, although relevant professional nanny experience is the primary consideration.

Accommodation

The successful candidate will have a private bedroom within the family's villa in Dubai, providing comfortable live-in accommodation during the working rotation.
