Superstar Nannies is seeking an exceptional, energetic and highly educated British Governess to support two girls aged 6 and 8 within a fully staffed international household.

This is a governess only position focused entirely on the children’s education, personal development and overall wellbeing. The successful candidate will be a polished native English speaker who can inspire curiosity, encourage strong academic progress and serve as a positive role model.

The position will be based primarily in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, with international travel required.

Key Responsibilities:
Providing after school care and educational support during the week
Working with the children on weekends
Assisting with homework and reinforcing their school curriculum
Supporting academic progress across a range of subjects
Teaching excellent manners, etiquette and age appropriate social skills
Encouraging creativity, curiosity and intellectual development
Creating and conducting exciting, age appropriate science experiments and practical learning activities
Nurturing the children’s interest in science, biology, animals and the natural world
Planning engaging educational, cultural and recreational activities
Promoting confidence, independence and positive daily routines
Supporting the children’s social and emotional development
Accompanying the family on international trips
Planning enriching activities and educational experiences while travelling
Maintaining regular communication with the parents regarding the children’s progress

Candidate Requirements:
British with native level English
University educated, ideally with a degree in Science, Biology or a related subject
Recent graduates with strong relevant experience are warmly encouraged to apply
A genuine interest in animals, nature and practical science
Creative and enthusiastic about developing interesting experiments and educational activities
Excellent spoken and written English
Confident supporting primary aged children across a broad range of subjects
Energetic, engaging and able to make learning enjoyable
Proactive, organised, adaptable and emotionally intelligent
A polished and discreet professional with excellent interpersonal skills
Previous experience with children in a professional, educational or private capacity
Experience with UHNW, VIP or international families is highly desirable
Comfortable working collaboratively within a fully staffed household
Willing and able to travel internationally with the family
Excellent, verifiable references
Enhanced DBS check or international equivalent
Teaching, tutoring or childcare qualifications are advantageous

Working Environment:
The household is fully staffed with professional chefs, drivers and household personnel. The family has no pets, and no cooking, housekeeping, laundry or other domestic duties are required. The Governess will focus entirely on the children’s education, development and wellbeing.
