A lovely family based in Nine Elms, South West London, is seeking a warm, engaging and experienced Mandarin speaking After School Nanny to care for their 4 year old daughter.

This is a wonderful long-term opportunity for a nurturing and proactive nanny who genuinely enjoys working with young children and can naturally incorporate Mandarin into the child’s everyday routine through conversation, play and age-appropriate activities.

Responsibilities

• Collecting the little girl from school/nursery and accompanying her home
• Providing attentive and engaging after-school care
• Speaking and communicating with her in Mandarin
• Encouraging Mandarin language development through play, stories, songs and conversation
• Organising creative, educational and age-appropriate activities
• Taking her to local activities, classes, playdates and outings when required
• Preparing simple, healthy meals and snacks for the child
• Supporting bath and evening routines where required
• Keeping the child's areas, belongings and nursery duties organised
• Working closely with the parents to maintain a happy and consistent routine

Candidate Requirements

• Fluent Mandarin speaker essential
• Previous professional nanny experience with children of a similar age
• Warm, caring and genuinely engaging personality
• Confident supporting early years development and learning
• Creative, energetic and proactive
• Reliable, organised and punctual
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong checkable references
• Enhanced DBS and Paediatric First Aid
