• Position Overview

  • Role: Full-Time Live-Out Nanny
  • Location: Fort Greene, Brooklyn, New York
  • Children: Boy (4 years old) and Girl (20 months old)

  Compensation and Benefits

  • Hourly Rate: $45–$55 per hour based on experience
  • Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week minimum
  • Travel Premium: $100 per day for overnight travel
  • Paid Time Off (PTO): 10 days per year
  • Sick Leave: 5 sick or personal days per year
  • Stipends: $132 monthly transportation stipend and negotiable healthcare stipend

  Key Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive and nurturing daily care for both children.
  • Plan engaging educational and creative activities.
  • Take the children to local parks, museums, and playdates.
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks.
  • Maintain the children's daily routines, rooms, and play areas.
  • Drive safely in New York City when needed.
  • Travel internationally with the family as requested.

  Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional nanny experience.
  • Extensive experience with toddlers and preschoolers.
  • US Citizen or Green Card holder.
  • Clean driving record and confident driving skills in New York City.
  • Strong swimming skills.
  • Current CPR and Pediatric First Aid certification.
  • Clean background check and excellent references.
  • Ability to travel internationally.

  Pluses (Not Essential)

  • Fluent Finnish speaker.
  • Background in early childhood education.
  • Past experience working with high-net-worth or traveling families.
