Overview
A lovely opportunity has arisen for an experienced and professional Nanny/Housekeeper to join a private family home in Walworth, London.
The family has a 4-month-old baby and is seeking a genuinely experienced nanny who is confident caring for a young baby, alongside providing support with the general housekeeping of the home.
The successful candidate will be nurturing, attentive and knowledgeable when caring for infants, whilst also being proactive and capable of maintaining a clean, organised and well-run household.
This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced nanny who enjoys a varied role and is happy to combine childcare with housekeeping responsibilities.
The Role
The primary responsibility will be the care of the family's 4-month-old baby, including:
Providing warm, attentive and nurturing care
Managing the baby's daily routine, including feeding, changing and naps
Supporting the baby's development through age-appropriate play and activities
Taking the baby out for walks and local activities
Ensuring the baby's nursery, clothing and belongings are kept clean and organised
Supporting the parents with the day-to-day needs of the baby
Creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment
Alongside childcare, the successful candidate will assist with the general upkeep of the home, including:
Cleaning and maintaining the household to a high standard
Laundry and ironing
Household organisation and tidying
Keeping the baby's areas and belongings organised
General household support as required
Candidate Requirements
Genuine professional nanny experience is essential
Strong experience caring for young babies/infants is highly desirable
Formal nanny training or relevant childcare qualifications would be a strong advantage
Paediatric First Aid certification is required
An up-to-date DBS check is required
Confident undertaking housekeeping duties alongside childcare
Warm, nurturing and genuinely passionate about working with babies
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Proactive and able to work independently
Reliable, discreet and trustworthy
Comfortable working in a family home with a baby and friendly dog

The family live in a three-storey house of approximately 110 sqm, with a small patio garden. The household consists of the parents, their 4-month-old baby and a friendly dog.
