Job Description

Sporty Manny | Wraparound & Holiday Role | Hyde Park Corner

Hyde Park Corner, SW1X

September

Yes

B13, B15

£41,600 gross per year (£800 gross per week based on an averaged 40 hours per week at £20 gph)

This is a wraparound role that will include morning school runs and afternoons. Every other weekend, you will work full days on Saturday and Sunday. Every other weekend and Wednesday afternoon off. Average hours per week: 40hrs

We're looking for an energetic, sporty and engaging manny to become a positive role model for two fantastic boys, aged 13 and 15.

This is much more than a traditional nanny role. The boys are independent, active and great company. The family are looking for someone who can build a genuine relationship with them, support them through their teenage years and become a trusted part of the family.

If you're someone who enjoys sport, good conversation and mentoring young people, this could be an incredibly rewarding long-term position.

Your typical day

Morning

  • School run
  • Making sure the boys are organised for the day

Afternoon & Evening

  • Collect from school
  • Drive to sports and activities
  • Help with homework when needed
  • Organise sports kit, snacks and clothing
  • Run the occasional family errand
  • Spend quality time with the boys

One of the boys has dyslexia, so any experience supporting neurodiverse children would be a real advantage, although it isn't essential.

Hours

Term Time

  • Monday-Friday
  • 6:45am-8:45am
  • 3:00pm-8:00pm

Alternate weekends are also required.

Holidays

School holidays are where this role becomes really exciting.

You'll travel internationally with the family, providing full-time support whilst away. Destinations vary throughout the year and offer the chance to experience some incredible places.

Once the holiday period finishes, you'll receive the equivalent time back as paid time off in lieu.

Even better, when the boys are staying with their father, you won't be required to work but you'll continue receiving your normal salary, giving you significantly more personal time than most nanny roles.

We'd love to hear from you if you are...

  • Naturally sporty and active
  • A confident driver (essential)
  • Happy playing padel, tennis or other sports
  • A positive male role model
  • Organised and proactive
  • Calm, emotionally intelligent and dependable
  • Someone who enjoys chatting about sport, current affairs, history or whatever the boys are learning at school
  • Looking for a long-term role where you can genuinely make a difference
