OS10080: Live-in Nanny / Companion in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

LIVE-IN NANNY/COMPANION SAUDI ARABIA/ OS10080

Live-in: Private bedroom and en-suite bathroom
Start: ASAP 
Rate: Equivalent to £1500 per week (candidate dependent)  
Days: 6 day week (12 hour day)

Key Requirements:

• Fluent English speaker (essential)
• Previous experience caring for school-aged children, ideally within a British or international school environment
• A calm, patient and reassuring nature
• The ability to recognise and respond sensitively to a child’s emotions
• A genuine love of reading and storytelling
• Confidence setting fair boundaries while respecting a child’s growing independence
• Flexibility to travel with the family when required
• The ability to adapt comfortably to life within a private household and embrace living in Saudi Arabia with cultural sensitivity and respect

Based in beautiful Jeddah, this is a unique role for an experienced, emotionally intelligent nanny who enjoys building meaningful relationships with older children. More companion than traditional nanny, you’ll play an important role in supporting a bright, independent and thoughtful 10-year-old girl as she navigates the exciting transition into her tween years. This young girl is bright, kind-hearted and engaging and spent her early childhood living in London before moving to Jeddah. She attends a British school and is fluent in English. She is compassionate, well-liked by her peers and happiest with a good book in her hands, particularly detective stories. She has a wonderful imagination, an emerging interest in fashion and personal style, and a naturally independent personality. This is very much a companion role. She doesn’t need someone constantly entertaining or supervising her; she needs someone who will genuinely enjoy spending time with her, talking about books, encouraging her interests, supporting her confidence and becoming a trusted, positive influence in her daily life. This is a long-term position with a warm, cultured family who are looking for someone to become a valued part of their household.
