British Learning Support Assistant – UAE

We are currently looking to connect with experienced British Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) who are based in the UAE and open to opportunities with private families.

The ideal candidate will have experience providing 1:1 support to children with additional learning needs and be confident working closely with parents and teachers.

The Ideal Candidate Should Be:

• British nationality

• Currently based in the UAE

• Experienced as an LSA, SEN Teaching Assistant, or 1:1 Support Assistant

• Patient, nurturing, and confident

• Professional, reliable, and adaptable

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Able to work independently and build a positive relationship with the child

• Relevant SEN / Education qualifications preferred

Main Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 educational and developmental support

• Assist with schoolwork, homework, and learning activities

• Support the child's individual learning and behavioural needs

• Encourage confidence, independence, and positive routines

• Follow strategies recommended by teachers, SEN specialists, or therapists

• Communicate regularly with parents and relevant professionals

• Support the child during activities, outings, and family travel when required

• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
