An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced and professional bilingual Rota Nanny to join a warm, welcoming, and well-established family. Based between London and international residences, this exciting long-term position offers the opportunity to travel extensively while supporting a lovely family with a three-year-old daughter and two babies due to join the family.

This is a staffed household, and the successful candidate will become part of a small, collaborative team dedicated to providing the highest level of care and support. The family are relaxed, energetic, and down-to-earth and are seeking a kind, nurturing, open-minded nanny who is genuinely passionate about child development. A flexible approach is essential, as the family spends approximately half of the year in the UK and the remainder travelling internationally.
 
The successful candidate will take responsibility for all nursery-related duties during their rota, ensuring the children’s daily routines are maintained while creating a fun, engaging, and stimulating environment. Initially, the primary focus will be on the family’s three-year-old daughter, with responsibilities evolving as the family welcomes their new arrivals.
 
Working on a two weeks on, two weeks off rota, this position offers an excellent work-life balance while requiring complete flexibility during working periods, particularly when travelling. The family is keen to begin interviewing and arranging trials immediately, with the successful candidate ideally commencing in mid-September.
 
DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Providing exceptional day-to-day care for the family’s children
  • Preparing healthy and nutritious meals and snacks for the children
  • Assisting with nursery drop-offs and collections
  • Organising engaging educational activities, outings, and playdates
  • Supporting learning and development through age-appropriate activities
  • Maintaining children’s routines, bedrooms, wardrobes, and play areas
  • Packing and unpacking children’s belongings for travel
  • Travelling extensively with the family both within the UK and internationally

 
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

  • Previous experience as a Nanny within a private household
  • Confident caring for toddlers and young children within a busy family environment
  • Warm, caring, energetic, and professional personality
  • Highly flexible with extensive international travel
  • Fluent Italian or Spanish
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Excellent checkable references demonstrating longevity in previous private household positions
  • An up-to-date enhanced DBS check
  • An up-to-date paediatric first aid certificate
