Overview

A wonderful opportunity to join an international UHNW family as a floating nanny, supporting two children (aged 3 and 10 months) alongside an existing, well-established team of five dedicated nannies — each child has their own primary nanny, and this role will be the sixth addition to the team. The family travels extensively but spends extended periods, around three months, at each location, with all logistics meticulously planned and managed in advance by their team. This nanny will act as an additional pair of hands, ensuring seamless coverage whenever a colleague needs support. With a minimum of two nannies always on shift, and typically three to four, this is a well-organised and close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Floating Support: Provide dedicated care to a 3-year-old and a 10-month-old, moving fluidly between the two as needed.
  • Rota Cover: Step in to cover for the existing rota nannies during sick leave or holiday, working 24/7 on-call shifts of up to two weeks when required.
  • Travel: Travel with the family internationally, adapting to a new base roughly every three months.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the wider team of nannies to ensure seamless, consistent childcare at all times.
  • Active Care: Keep pace with very active toddlers and a busy travel itinerary, both indoors and outdoors. The family employs chefs so no cooking is required.

Requirements

  • Languages: Native or highly proficient Spanish is mandatory; a good level of English is essential to communicate with the extended team and some family members.
  • Fitness: Physically fit and energetic, able to run after very active toddlers and keep up with a demanding travel itinerary. Someone who aligns with the family's healthy lifestyle is preferred.
  • Right to work: EU Passport holders only.
  • Experience: Well-presented and experienced, with a clear understanding of the nuances of working within a UHNW household.
  • Flexibility: Comfortable living in the same accommodation as the family during cover periods, including potentially sharing a room with a child if required.
  • Presentation: A polished, professional presentation suitable for a UHNW household.
