A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced, reliable and proactive live-in housekeeper to join a warm family of four living in a beautiful countryside property in South Gloucestershire. The family have two young children and are looking for a long-term housekeeper to help maintain their spacious home to an exceptional standard.

Staff Duties
Duties will include daily cleaning of the property, managing all household laundry and ironing, ensuring the home remains organised and well-presented, and providing occasional assistance during social occasions such as dinner parties. The role will also involve occasional childcare and babysitting by mutual agreement, house-sitting while the family are away for weekends or holidays (typically 2–3 weeks per year), and caring for the family’s small dog, cat, and chickens during their absence. Candidates who are happy to assist with light cooking and/or gardening would be highly regarded. Due to the rural location, a full driving licence is essential, although a car can be made available if required. Accommodation is provided in a brand-new, private self-contained one-bedroom apartment with its own living room, kitchen, bathroom, entrance and parking. The family are seeking a trustworthy, discreet, and flexible candidate who takes pride in their work and is looking to become a valued part of the household. Working 3 full days at 10 hours per day or 5 days per week for around 6 hours per day. Would suit a candidate who is seeking a relaxed schedule and perhaps open to seeking additional employment.

Essential Notes
