We are looking for a warm, engaging, and proactive Nanny/PA/Family Assistant for our lovely returning clients with three bright, kind children aged 12, 10 and 5. The children attend three different schools, so the family are looking for someone switched-on, energetic, fun and exceptionally organised.

This is very much a nanny-first position with added PA and family-assistant duties. The ideal candidate will enjoy spending time with the children, playing with them after school, supporting their development, planning fun and engaging activities during the holidays, and gently encouraging increasing independence as they grow.

The family's youngest child is a cheerful and imaginative 5-year-old girl who loves outdoor adventures, creative play, Lego and reading. Her older brothers, aged 10 and 12, are bright and engaging boys with different interests. The younger boy is sporty and active, enjoying tennis, football and table tennis, while his older brother enjoys reading, chess and independent pursuits. Both boys also share a love of cooking and baking.

The family are down to earth, warm, loyal, and respectful employers looking for someone who will become part of the team long-term with a ‘can-do’ attitude and happy to ‘muck in when needed.  It is essential you are a confident London driver, can swim and will take a genuine interest in creating fun and enriching experiences for the children.

You will provide high-level support to the family across childcare, personal assistance, school administration, household organisation, and family logistics. This role requires excellent communication, initiative, confidentiality, and the ability to plan ahead and ensure smooth day-to-day operations for a busy household.

If you have the fun-factor, love a list and are passionate about working with school-age children please get in touch.

  • Warm, fun, kind, active and engaging - someone who genuinely loves being with school age children.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and efficient; a natural planner who “loves a list.”
  • Reliable, flexible, calm under pressure, and confident taking initiative.
  • Excellent communicator and strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Confident UK driver with UK licence (automatic car provided)
  • Longevity in previous roles and experience as a nanny/PA/family assistant.
  • Knowledge of London schools and familiarity with similar family setups is a bonus.
  • Happy to travel abroad with the family approximately 3 to 5 times per year (1 week to 10 days at a time).
  • Happy to support occasional proxy parenting and babysitting but not a deal breaker.
  • Willing to spend time in Bedfordshire and work from there during school holidays when needed (lovely separate live-in accommodation is provided).
  • Competent supporting homework and following the parents’ preferred parenting style, including setting boundaries around screens and routines.

  • School admin: managing portals, diarising events, keeping uniforms/kits organised.
  • Planning fun, age-appropriate after-school and holiday activities, keeping children active and engaged.
  • Collecting the children from school and driving to activities as needed.
  • Supporting homework and encouraging good routines and independence.
  • Managing children’s wardrobes, sourcing new clothes, packing/unpacking for trips.
  • Booking dentist/doctor appointments and handling child-related administration.
  • Running errands, purchasing gifts, wrapping presents, and general child related admin.
  • Liaising with parents and household staff to keep the shared diary up to date.
  • Planning and cooking healthy meals for the children daily.
  • Happy to muck in and support the wider team.
