Experienced Governess – Private Family | Dubai, UAE

A private family in Dubai is seeking an experienced, professional, and dedicated Governess to oversee the educational development, personal growth, and daily routines of their two children, aged 9 and 6 years old.

The successful candidate will become a trusted and valued member of the household, working closely with the parents to provide exceptional educational guidance, structure, and support. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, organised, nurturing, and passionate about helping children reach their full potential in a private home environment.

Location: Dubai, UAE
Salary: AED 15,000–18,000 per month (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate educational activities that complement the children's school curriculum.

• Provide homework support, revision, and academic enrichment across core subjects.

• Encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of learning.

• Establish structured daily routines that balance academics, creativity, physical activity, and free time.

• Support the children's emotional, social, and personal development while promoting confidence and independence.

• Monitor academic progress and adapt learning strategies to meet each child's individual needs.

• Foster positive behaviour, good manners, responsibility, and strong organisational habits.

• Maintain open communication with parents, providing regular updates on the children's progress and development.

• Coordinate educational resources, reading materials, and enrichment opportunities.

• Accompany the family on travel when required.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience as a Governess, Private Tutor, or Teacher working with school-aged children.

• A degree in Education or a related field, or a recognised teaching qualification, is highly desirable.

• Strong knowledge of primary education and child development.

• Excellent spoken and written English.

• Warm, patient, and nurturing personality with a professional approach.

• Highly organised, flexible, and able to work independently.

• Experience working within a private household or with UHNW families is highly desirable.

• A valid driving licence

• Willingness to travel with the family if required.
