An international private family based in Marbella, Spain is seeking an experienced Native English Governess with exceptional academic credentials and a strong Mathematics background to provide full-time homeschooling for two young children following the International Baccalaureate (IB) educational framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver full-time homeschooling aligned with International Baccalaureate (IB) standards.

• Create and implement structured educational programmes tailored to each child's individual learning needs.

• Provide high-level Mathematics instruction alongside all core academic subjects.

• Develop engaging lesson plans using play-based, interactive and communication-focused teaching methods.

• Foster curiosity, confidence and a genuine enthusiasm for learning.

• Monitor educational progress and achieve measurable academic outcomes.

• Adapt teaching strategies to suit different learning styles.

• Travel internationally with the family as required while maintaining educational continuity.

• Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Native English speaker (UK or USA preferred).

• Outstanding academic background.

• Strong Mathematics teaching ability.

• Extensive experience working as a Governess, Governor, Private Tutor or Teacher.

• Proven homeschooling or private tutoring experience.

• Experience working with high-profile families and/or prestigious schools.

• Ability to travel internationally on a frequent basis.

• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

• Professional presentation and appearance.

• Highly motivated, proactive and results-driven.

• Chess skills are considered a significant advantage.
