If you are willing to learn, perhaps come from a hospitality background and are looking for your first steps into a private household of note, then this position will be superb as an entry into the top echelons of service.
As a trainee the head butler will guide you through the intricacies of service, table laying, care of the families dogs, driving to other border properties to ensure all are ready for visits and, with the men on the shoots and in the wonderful gardens and grounds, learn how an historic household functions.
