Job Description
We are looking for a highly experienced and professional candidate with relevant childcare qualifications, such as Montessori, Waldorf, or similar educational approaches. The ideal applicant will have a genuine passion for children’s development and wellbeing, with a strong belief in positive parenting and holistic learning.
You will be confident in supporting the children both academically and emotionally, while creating a fun, nurturing, and stimulating environment in which they can thrive.
The successful candidate will be proactive, enthusiastic, and encouraging in their approach. Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive outlook are essential, along with excellent communication skills, a good sense of humour, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fully staffed household. English must be your native language, and the ability to play a musical instrument would be considered a wonderful advantage.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing the children’s daily care and routines, managing school runs, planning creative and educational activities, organising playdates, supporting homework and school projects, and maintaining strong communication with teachers and school staff. You will also be responsible for planning nutritious meals, managing the children’s wardrobes and belongings, and ensuring their overall wellbeing and development are consistently supported.
This is a full-time, live-out position working 6 days per week, 12 hours per day, with one full weekend off each month, however 5 days per week might be considered for the right candidate. A private apartment is provided, along with an attractive salary package. The role is available for an immediate start.
Traveling with the family is essential.
