Full-Time Nanny

Location: SW6 3RQ, London

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm

A warm, welcoming family based in SW6 are seeking an exceptional full-time nanny to care for their two wonderful children, aged 4 years and 18 months.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a lovely family on a long-term basis. Both parents have busy professional careers but are very hands-on and involved in family life, so they are looking for a nanny who enjoys working collaboratively and becoming a valued extension of the family.

The ideal candidate will be energetic, deeply nurturing and genuinely passionate about supporting children's development through play, creativity and outdoor adventures.

The Role

You will be responsible for providing attentive, loving care while creating a fun, stimulating and engaging environment for both children. The family would love someone who enjoys planning creative activities, encouraging learning through play and making the most of London's parks, playgrounds and local attractions.

The family are members of The Hurlingham Club, so there are wonderful opportunities to enjoy its excellent family facilities as part of the children's routine.

Responsibilities

• Sole-charge care of both children

• Planning fun, age-appropriate and developmentally focused activities

• Arts and crafts, imaginative play and creative learning

• Encouraging plenty of outdoor play and fresh air

• Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children

• Nursery and school-related duties

• Children's laundry and keeping bedrooms, play areas and belongings organised

• Supporting routines, milestones and overall wellbeing

• Working closely with the parents to ensure consistency and excellent communication

Travel

The family travel regularly and would love a nanny who is happy to accompany them, including:

• Regular trips to Sussex

• Occasional international travel

• Typically 1–2 weeks at a time

The Ideal Candidate

The family are looking for someone who is:

• Warm, kind and genuinely nurturing

• Energetic and active, with a love of being outdoors

• Creative, particularly someone who enjoys arts, crafts and imaginative play

• Calm, organised and proactive

• A confident team player who enjoys working alongside involved parents

• Professional, reliable and looking for a long-term role

• Driver preferred

A recognised childcare qualification is strongly preferred.

• The family have pet rabbits, although no care or responsibilities are required.
