Arabic Speaking Governess (French National) – Private Family – Sharjah

A private family based in Sharjah is seeking a professional, experienced, and education-focused Arabic Speaking Governess to provide structured educational support and after-school care for four children aged 4, 10, 12, and 14 years.

The ideal candidate will be a French national who is fluent in Arabic and English, with previous experience as a Governess, Teacher, or Private Educator. She will be nurturing, organized, and passionate about supporting children's academic progress while creating a positive, engaging, and structured learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate Should Be:

• French national

• Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written)

• Warm, patient, and naturally engaging with children

• Experienced as a Governess, Teacher, or Private Educator

• Passionate about education and child development

• Organized, proactive, and confident managing children of different ages

• Professional, discreet, and well-presented

• Able to work independently while maintaining excellent communication with the family

Job Details

• Live-out position

• Based in Sharjah

• Start date: End of August

• Working hours primarily in the afternoons

• Morning responsibility includes dropping the children to school

• Salary: AED 12,000–15,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Provide educational guidance and academic support for four children aged 4, 10, 12, and 14 years

• Assist with homework, revision, and school projects

• Encourage independence, confidence, and positive study habits

• Plan engaging educational and creative activities

• Support Arabic language development while assisting with English where appropriate

• Establish structured after-school routines

• Coordinate children's schedules and extracurricular activities when required

• Drop the children to school each morning

• Maintain regular communication with the family regarding the children's academic progress and development

Requirements

• French national

• Fluent in Arabic and English

• Previous experience as a Governess, Teacher, or Private Educator

• Teaching qualification or relevant educational background is highly desirable

• Valid UAE driving licence preferred

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Professional references available upon request
