About the Role

A private family in London is seeking an experienced, professional, native Spanish-speaking rota nanny to join their household staff and provide exceptional care for two children, aged 3 and 6.

The family also employs a full-time tutor; the candidate will work closely with the tutor, parents, and wider household team to ensure the children receive consistent, well-rounded care.

This is a collaborative position within a professional household, combining both sole-charge and shared-care duties. The ideal candidate is calm, organised, flexible, and nurturing, with the confidence to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional day-to-day care, ensuring the children's well-being, safety, and happiness
  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning through play
  • Work alongside the family's tutor to support the children's ongoing development
  • Maintain consistent routines and encourage positive behaviour
  • Communicate professionally with parents, the tutor, and household staff
  • Accompany the family on international travel. Organising all aspects of the children's travel, including planning, packing, and logistics
  • Prepare simple, nutritious meals for the children when required
  • Work collaboratively within a fully staffed household and assist where appropriate to ensure the smooth running of the children's schedules.

 Candidate Profile

The family is looking for someone warm, energetic, and engaging, with a genuine passion for early years development. The ideal candidate is imaginative and proactive; confident planning enriching experiences both at home and abroad; and always demonstrates discretion and professionalism.

 Essential Requirements

  • Fluent Spanish and English (spoken and written)
  • Previous experience as a professional nanny in a private household
  • Experience working in a staffed household highly desirable
  • Previous experience travelling extensively with a family, with no visa restrictions
  • Confident managing sole-charge and shared-care responsibilities
  • Paediatric First Aid certificate
  • Enhanced DBS (or country equivalent)
  • ⁠Excellent references demonstrating longevity in prior roles
  • Flexible and able to travel internationally for extended periods
  • Confident, proficient swimmer, able to supervise children's safety in and around water
