Location: Central London

Schedule: Monday–Friday (approximately 7 –8 months of the year), with flexibility required when the principals are in residence

Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience

Accommodation: Live-out role, with live-in accommodation provided when the principals are in residence

Due to cultural reasons we are recruiting for a Female House Manager only

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly professional House Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of a formal UHNW family residence in Central London. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring exceptional organisational skills, strong people management, and a commitment to delivering the highest standards of household service and efficiency

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily management and smooth operation of the household
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the permanent/temporary household team, fostering a positive and high-performing working environment
  • Maintain exceptional standards of service throughout the residence
  • Coordinate staff rotas, daily duties, and performance reviews
  • Manage household, inventories, and supplier relationships where required
  • Ensure the property is maintained to impeccable standards at all times
  • Oversee contractors
  • Anticipate the needs of the principals and provide proactive, practical solutions
  • Maintain the highest level of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism

Candidate Requirements

  • A minimum of five years' experience as a House Manager within an UHNW private household
  • Proven experience managing large teams of up to 30 staff
  • Longevity in previous roles
  • Hands on experience of silver service
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build, motivate, and manage successful teams
  • Excellent organisational, administrative, and IT skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities with exceptional attention to detail
  • Calm, professional, and solutions-focused under pressure
  • Flexible and adaptable, particularly during periods when extended family and guests are in residence
  • High levels of discretion, integrity, and professionalism
  • Confident managing household maintenance and coordinating external contractors
  • Full eligibility to work in the UK
